I’m crying all over again. We miss you, Geno & Jorge. *sob*

NGL..I cried. 3 generations of Posada’s on the field…team behind our beloved Jorge. Perfect moment.
My hearts.
Yankee catcher Jorge Posada is known for painting his nails with Wite-Out to help pitcher Andy Pettitte see his hand signals during night games. Well, nail polish aficionado Essie Weingarten thinks he can go a little more professional than that. She was inspired by the Yankees to change the names of two polishes from her namesake line. Posada Pettitte Connection, a smooth and shiny white, is perfect for night games. And for day, Weingarten thinks Posada should sport Bronx Bombers, a classic navy blue. Of course, these colors are also a slamming way for fans to show their Yankee pride.
All of the awards go to Diana Munson for her speech though…

SO MANY TEARS!!! WAAAHHHH!!!
Thank you for everything, Jorge. I will miss you so much. Pinstripes forever.
My hearts…
2 down :(
It’s hard to watch our heroes, especially the ones we’ve watched for their entire careers, retire.
This is one of my favorite Jorge pics ever. I know everyone is sad about him retiring but I’m happy he won’t be putting on another uniform. Now *that* is something I couldn’t handle.
Thank you, Jorge, for all your BAMF-ness over the years. You’ll always be one of my favorite Yankees.

Hello favorites!!!
Even though the game was postponed due to rain, I’m really glad I got to see this. Mo throwing 1st pitch and Jorge catching.
